ANIMAL RENTALS has proudly participated in Christmas re-enactments for over 70 years. The Las Pasadas has been a popular tradition in our Latin-American communities for four centuries.
The production consists of two people dressed as Mary and Joseph along with attendants such as angels and shepherds searching for lodging. With a very pregnant Mary riding atop a live donkey (burro) the procession, usually followed by musicians, moves to designated homes (inns) looking for a place to rest. In many cases a church or chapel is the final destination where room is made for Mary and Joseph. Here refreshments are offered to the participants.
ANIMAL RENTALS also provides sheep, lambs, camels and other various farm animals to make each presentation or program an event to remember.
